Loch Lomond 12 Year Old has been aged in three types of cask: bourbon, refill and recharged. Fruity with notes of pear, lemon, vanilla and biscuits. 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Loch Lomond, whom are well known for being able to produce a wide variety of styles of whisky in their distillery in the Highland region.
A lovely 18 year old bottling that perfectly illustrates the qualities of Glencadam’s flowery single malt.
Despite having been around for about 200 years, Glencadam is one of those distilleries that is often overlooked. Releases like this bottling suggest this will not be the case for much longer.
What does it take to be a classic? We believe this 15 Year Old Single Malt is a great example, with the backbone and strength to appeal to every aficionado. A dry citrus character with a hint of peat on the nose and palate that is smooth to the taste.
This Laphroaig 16 Year has matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks and was bottled at 48% ABV. Only 11,500 bottles have been produced.
Amber with dark gold highlights, full ripe and sweet, with finely peated with aromas of orange marmalade, honey, coffee, sherry and nuttiness. The finish is fresh with a long lasting smoky maltiness.
Exhaling honey, citrus and spicy cloves. Sherried and full like fruitcake, then dabs of rich dark chocolate and a soothing, mouth-coating finish.
