This red combines pure Sangiovese flavors of cherry and berry with earthy, savory and wild herb notes, making for a complex mix. These elements are matched to a dense, tannic structure. This will come alive with food. It has a terrific finish.
This farm in the center of Castellina in Chianti, an area highly adapted to the production of the best red Tuscan wines, is 123 hectares with altitudes ranging from 280 to 330 meters above sea level. 45 hectares is vine-planted land, all Chianti Classico. Another 10 hectares are reserved for cultivating olive trees.
