Canayli 2012
Straw yellow in color with golden tinges. Broad aroma, intense notes of grape, tropical fruit, and hints of green pepper. Dry on the palate, full, warm, vigorous, and consistent. This wine is distinctive, harmonious, and balanced with good structure. It is particularly fine and elegant with a pleasant bitterness at the end.
100% Vermentino. The roots of Cantina Gallura's name can be found in the rooster coat of arms of the Visconti of Pisa, first rulers of Guidicato, the same rooster that identifies their prized wines since 1956. Located in Tempio Pausania, at the foot of Mount Limbara, the winery has sought the age-old tradition of the winegrowers of high Gallura, already known in the nineteenth century well beyond the island's borders for producing a muscat of excellence.
