Camino Montecillo Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Cabernet Sauvignon | California | United States
Deep garnet-purple, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Montecillo Vineyard sings of crushed blackcurrants, dark plums and wild blueberries with indications of cedar chest, straight leaves, and lavender in addition to contacts of camphor and pencil shavings.
The Montecillo Vineyard was planted in 1964 on the terraced, volcanic, iron-rich soils high on the Mayacamas Mountain run. Claimed by the Lee family who have a long and rich history in the California wine industry and established Kenwood Winery in 1970. The vineyard has been painstakingly looked out for 40+ years by Chuy Ordaz. Camino shares this site with any semblance of Bedrock, Turley and Arnot Roberts.
