On the palate, it is fresh and lively, offering a vibrant mix of citrus, apple, melon, and tropical fruit flavors. The wine culminates in a long finish with pleasing mineral and spice tones.

Cakebread Cellars was founded over 30 years ago when Jack Cakebread, visiting the Napa Valley to photograph the region for a book, casually mentioned his desire to one day own a vineyard to some family friends. That afternoon, the phone rang with an offer to sell their property, leading Jack to make his best offer and establish Cakebread Cellars. Today, while the wine industry has seen many changes, the Cakebread family continues to uphold the same key values that have guided them from the beginning.
