Bulleit '87 Toasted Staves
Bulleit '87 is Bulleit Frontier Whiskey's first-ever blend of bourbon and rye, created to honor 1987, the year the brand was established. Both whiskeys are aged for a minimum of four years and finished separately in their original barrels with toasted American oak and French oak staves for four to six weeks before blending.
Bottled at 90 proof and 45% ABV in Shelbyville, Kentucky, it joins Bulleit Bourbon and Bulleit 95 Rye as a core expression in the range. The result is a beautifully crafted sipping whiskey with notes of warm brown sugar, rich vanilla and subtle toasted oak spice. Smooth, balanced and approachable, it is ideal neat, on the rocks, or as an elevated base for classic whiskey cocktails.
