Bruno Colin Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2017
Chardonnay | France
A well-layered nose grudgingly reveals its aromas of both white and yellow orchard fruit, ample citrus and soft spice nuances that are framed but subtle but not invisible wood influence.
Like the Blanchot there is excellent size, weight and muscle to the overtly powerful flavors that possess impressive depth and persistence on the sappy, balanced and harmonious finish. This is really very good and should age accordingly.
