Bodegas Palacio Glorioso Reserva Especial 2008
Made from old-vine grapes and aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. It has a classic, complex aroma and a full taste of dark berries.
100% Tempranillo. Bodegas Palacio is a centenary winery located in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. Since its founding in 1894, they have made an important contribution to the revolution of La Rioja wines. Their founder, Don Cosme Palacio y Bermejillo, started producing exceptional wines over 100 years ago, becoming part of a limited and select group of historical bodegas in the DOCa Rioja. Bodegas Palacio's wines are like a historical timeline of the region: starting with Glorioso which dates back to 1928, Cosme Palacio (the first highly expressive wine that led the flow of "Nuevos Riojas" in the late 1980s), Milfores, or Bodegas Palacio Reserva Especial. The winery was acquired by Hijos de Antonio Barcelo in 1998 who has made technological and structural changes to Bodegas Palacio so that their wines can be enjoyed in more than 30 countries around the world.
