LAN Reserva 2018
This LAN Reserva has aged for twelve months in a combined American- and French-oak cask followed by two years in bottle. Aromas of red fruits, blended with the notes of vanilla and spice from the oak.
Recommended to match stews, spiced dishes, legumes, or cured cheeses.
Bodegas LAN was founded in 1972 and named after the initials of three provinces in the Rioja Designation of Origin: Logronyo (now called La Rioja), Alava, and Navarra. The most spectacular vineyards in Rioja are owned by Bodegas LAN: a privileged enclave of 178 acres of tempranillo, mazuelo, and graciano located on the border of Rioja ALta with Rioja Alavesa and surrounded by the Ebro River. They are solely engaged in the production of crianza red wines, using Rioja's native tempranillo as the main variety, as this is the ideal grape to produce red wines that are subsequently aged in the cask and bottle. Quality of grapes, a tightly-controlled production process, and a precise use of oak constitute Bodegas LAN's personality.
