Bright ruby in color. Rich aromatic intensity with a nice balance of red fruit, licorice, spices, and smoked hints in the background. Elegant and rounded on the palate, with a long aftertaste full of floral and ripe fruit notes.

100% Tempranillo. Bodegas Izadi is the main winery from the Grupo Artevino, who also owns three other wineries. Founded in 1987 by the Anton family after years of running vineyards in Villabuena de Alaba, and located deep in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, Izadi aims to produce wines that expresses the character of the local varieties. Their wines are produced out of over 100 plots of old vineyards, where the dryness and the water stress directly influence the flavor of the grapes. Each Izadi label displays a triangle symbolizing the triangle formed by the three villages (Villabuena, Abalos, and Samaniego) where Izadi's vineyards are located.
