Chateau Bellevue Morgon Grand Cras Non-Mevushal 2023
Gamay | France
Since its construction in 1830, the heart of Chateau Bellevue beats to the rhythm of the Morgon appellation. Its cellar was entirely thought in order to reveal the singular character of each one of its single vineyards.
The vineyards of Chateau Bellevue spread over 21 hectares, and its bed & breakfast represents a tasteful stopover in the heart of Beaujolais.
Deep purple in color, with on the nose, ripe blackberries, baysenberries, freshly tilled earth, and a hint of smoke. Medium to full-bodied, with on the palate boysenberries and blackberries, followed by earthy and spicy notes, graphite, black tea with medium-plus acidity and grainy tannins as well. as a touch of black coffee on the moderately long finish.
