Armand Heitz Meursault Gruyaches 2022
From biodynamic rising star Armand Heitz (Heitz-Lochardet), this village Meursault comes from the clay and pebble-rich lieu-dit Les Gruyaches — a Charmes-like terroir that retains humidity and never stresses the vines.
100% Chardonnay is gently whole-cluster pressed, fermented with native yeasts and aged in seasoned French oak with minimal intervention to preserve purity. The result is ultra-classy and pale in the glass, with layered notes of white flowers, fleshy white fruit, honey, and a cool, mineral width with just the merest accent of oak. Generous yet precise, with Meursault richness balanced by sparkling minerality and fine tension. Ready to enjoy very soon, ideal alongside lobster, baked monkfish, or aged Comté.
