Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Pinot Grigio 2014

Originating from the northern coast of Italy, Pinot Grigio has long been known for its ability to pair well with seafood and other light dishes. Our Pinot Grigio is a well-rounded wine with a peach-citrus finish that pairs nicely with oysters, roast chicken, or Brie. Serve well chilled. The grapes were gently pressed after harvest, preserving the purity of the juice, and then cold-fermented with an aroma-enhancing yeast strain. Age sur lie in stainless steel tanks, the wine was stirred weekly to enhance the silkiness of its texture and blend its bright flavors. To retain the wine's fresh, crisp character, it did not undergo oak aging. Small amounts of other aromatic white varieties were blended in to further enhance the wine's fragrant aromas. With aromas of nectarine and fresh peach, our crisp and refreshing Woodbridge Pinot Grigio is a food-friendly wine and a delightful addition to any warm and sunny afternoon.
