The grapes that go into Reva are 97-100% Syrah with a balance of Viognier. The wines grapes are from nonpartisan sandy soils and parts of a farm that are white and very alkaline. This blend makes for a wine with dark shading, concentrated kinds of dark fruits, fennel, and graphite. In Egyptian mythology, Amon-Ra is considered to be the king of all gods. The temple of Amon-Ra was believed to be the first temple to ever plant a monoculture vineyard to produce wine for the citizens of the temple. A vibrant black/purple color, with aromas of pepper, plum, and lifted, animated fruit. A firm structure of ripe and supple tannins provide support to lashings of blackcurrant and nutmeg.
