Panek Vineyard’s early ripening nature was a blessing in 2017. All 5 blocks we work with achieved full ripeness giving us quite a bit to choose from in this vintage. That coupled with continually improving farming gave us more quantity than we hoped for pre-harvest.

Eaglestone wine is a tribute to California wineries, producing one of the best Zinfandel in the world.

Aromas of boysenberry, black cherry, and fig with accents of forest floor are highlighted in the 2017 vintage. On the palate, intense, concentrated flavors of blackberry, black cherry and boysenberry are balanced by traces of minerality and opulent tannins with a dense, powerful black fruit finish.

Layered aromatics surface one at a time and blend seamlessly into the next - licorice and tobacco, cassis and cacao, black tea and cigar box. Structured and endearing, the entry is evocative with flavors of ripe blueberry pie and a touch of fennel, evoking a convivial nostalgia.

From the most recognized Napa Valley red blend comes a distinct, new wine. Made in the same iconic style as The Prisoner Red Blend, this is The Prisoner Chardonnay. Bursting with aromas of vanilla, crème brûlée, and baked apple.

This is the 2019 ‘Generation VIII’ Cabernet Sauvignon from the Herzog winemaking family. Grown in the Oak Knoll District of Napa County, California, this is a well-balanced red with plenty of oak and dark fruit notes.

An intricate blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot explode on the palate harboring concentrated fruit flavors of ripe cherry and luxuriant blueberry. The Cabernet is inky, dark, and concentrated exhibiting a lush, rich and bold tannin structure.

Deeply saturated, jewel-toned wine. A seductive nose displays aromas of black cassis, lifted violets, and dark-chocolate shavings. Gentle swirling coaxes further notes of cigar box and potpourri which set the stage for a stunning palate layered with flavors of cedar, cracked black pepper, black licorice, and bergamot.
