The Dalla Valle wines from the 2011 vintage are an achievement. In many parts of Napa Valley, the season brought challenges, like cool temperatures, early rain, and a relatively late harvest. This wine definitely qualifies as the most elegant PATRIMONY Cabernet to date. The longer hanging on the vine provides a great tannin structure while maintaining Freshness.

From above, this patchwork of vineyards between St. Helena and Calistoaga really resembles a checkerboard. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, barrel fermented, pressed, and then put back in a new barrel to mellow.
Great concentration and a previously unseen quantity of tannins characterized the wines, which possessed extraordinary aromatic intensity, freshness and precision.
Wine Spectator-Oakville, Napa, CA- "A bold, assertive style that packs in a lot of flavor, with dense dark berry, mocha, mineral, cedar and loamy earth notes driving the core flavors. Though big and rowdy, there's a measure of finesse and suppleness here that moves to the forefront."
