Notes from the Winemaker:
As we have continued our exploration of the vast diversity that California has to offer, we find ourselves increasingly drawn to the cooler climates. These wines offer vibrancy, freshness and clean delineation that engage both our curiosity and our palate.

Jean-Philippe feels this is the perfect example of Meursault. There is a nice touch of gunflint reduction on the nose, which leads into intense stone fruit before tightening up again with a twist of lime acidity on the finish.

Giuseppe Quintarelli Secco Ca' del Merlo 2017 is a remarkable red wine from the Veneto region in Italy. This wine is a blend of traditional grape varieties, including Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Nebbiolo. The 2017 vintage is known for its complexity, with layers of dark fruit, spice, and subtle floral notes.

The wine are very fruity, floral and aromatic with lots of elegance. good salinity on the finish. This wine is both ample yet lively, fresh yet rich.

Luminous straw-yellow. Lemon, minerals, lime and pomaceous orchard fruit, and actually not much of the spice typically associated with granite soils. Long and lively in the mouth, and boasting noteworthy clarity and cut thanks to juicy acidity that channels the flavor molecules directly onto the taste buds.

Very delicate on the nose, this bottling offers aromas of nectarine, white-melon flesh, a hint of melon rind and light lemon spray. The palate is extremely textural, offering subtle flavors of lemon cream, chalk, lemongrass, ash and Brie rind that will live forever. Drink now through 2042.

When you take a sip it’s inevitable that you will sit down, close your eyes and say, “mmm” out loud.
