A wine as rare as a dentally challenged hen. This is sumptuous wine showing rich sweet fruit, roasted nuts and balanced acidity.

Typically, a Graham’s Vintage Port blend also comprises Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, a fourth property, far upriver in the remote Douro Superior.

This 50-year-old Tawny was sourced in the eastern reaches of the Douro Valley, location of many of the finest vineyard estates and traditional source of the most long-lasting wines. Prior to blending, the individual wines were aged in Taylor’s cellars in seasoned oak casks specially selected and set aside by the firm’s team of expert coopers.
Nose: powerful and complex nuttiness aromas in harmony with spicy notes, warm roasted coffee and cinnamon hints from the long contact with oak wood during the aging process.Palate: On the palate, an array of flavours flourishes, mainly to toasted nuts and chocolate. The 40 Year-old is an intense and complex port with mellow and spicy aftertaste.
