There’s lots of Chenin between here and Santa Barbara, but there is good reason to traverse all those miles. Of all the sites with which the winery works, Jurassic Park, planted on its own roots on quartz sand atop lime- stone in the late 1970s exhibits the most vintage variation, and small variations create very strong signals in the wine.

Belle Glos Chardonnay from Glasir Holt vineyard boasts a refreshing acidity and a rich mouthfeel with flavors of tropical fruit, lemon zest, and a hint of vanilla. Hat Strap Chardonnay shows golden delicious apple, pineapple, and lemon zest flavors with hints of Freestone peach and macadamia nut. It’s a full-bodied, complex wine that finishes with great richness and length.

Pale straw in color with aromas of gooseberry, lime, guava, lemon, pineapple, orange blossom. Medium body with crisp and vibrant acidity. Flavors of mouthwatering grapefruit, kiwi, pear and melon. Long and juicy finish.

Nose: Saline, yellow pear, oyster shell, underripe pineapple, brioche, creme fraiche, lemon. Palate: Bright, fresh apple and pear skin, sweet cream, sourdough bread, pie crust, lemon compote. 75 cases produced. Drink now through 2032.

Our original Heritage vineyard, Durell, is highly regarded throughout Sonoma, characterized by its diverse microclimates and rocky volcanic soils.

Very pale gold in color, this classic Chardonnay is the ideal balance of Old World restraint with California sunshine. The aromas and flavors are delicate, with citrus, floral and mineral notes on a wine of fresh acidity and medium body.
