This beautiful aromatic blend of two grapes has resulted in an outstanding wine expressive of ripe lemon zest, juicy apples, ripe peaches and apricots with gentle honeysuckle, acacia and other wild flowers. On the palate, high acidity and vivacity is balanced by the complexity of flavours. Vaziani Mtsvane - Khikhvi was born at the scenic vineyards of the Kakheti region in south-eastern Georgia.
The ancient Georgian word "Gemieri" is translated as "tasty". A hand-picked variation of carefully selected and ripe grapes from the microzones Sviri in Imereti and Tsinandali in Kakheti. After separating from the stems, the berries are cooled to 4-6 ° C and pressed with controlled pressure. The fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank at the optimum temperature. After fermentation is complete, the wine is poured into another stainless steel tank for further refinement.
Produced from Kisi grapes grown in our estate owned vineyards in village Tsinadali of Kakhet region. Fermentation is driven by natural yeast. Aged in oak barrels. This amber color wine with elegant palate is delivering ripened pear, tobacco and dried fruit aromas, with the hint of black tea. Silky tannins give the wine a rare, velvety finish. Recommended serving temperature 52-54 degrees F.
