The 2017 Santenay 1er Cru Le Beaurepaire Rouge is utterly charming, bursting with plummy fruit that's complemented by nuances of pencil lead and rich soil. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with melting tannins, succulent acids and an expansive finish.

Lovely pale golden yellow. Floral nose, highly expressive ending on a touch of lime flower. Round and fleshy in the mouth, this wine has nice acidity. Well balanced, the finish takes aromas of apple. True enjoyment on grilled fish, fish stew and sea food.

Saint-Germain is a textbook example of good value found in the Graves, at the South of Bordeaux. This Cabernet-Sauvignon blend comes from 35 years-old vins growing on a sand and gravely soil. This terroir produces a very elegant wine. It showcases a good balance of fruits and tannins. Recommended pairing with poultry, meat and cheese.

Grivot's 2014 Nuits St Georges 1er Cru les Roncières has a clean, quite pure bouquet with cranberry, bergamot and wild hedgerow aromas, developing rose petal/pressed flower scents with aeration. Château Margès is a family owned property located in the commune of Budos, at about 40 km South-East from Bordeaux. A dry white wine, with nice notes of citrus. Good vividness, but without being aggressive, this wine has a lot of finesse and is really aromatic. Fruity nose. Rich and fresh on the palate, the finish is supple and round.
