The unrushed extravagance of the 2016 growing season finds full expression in this Hexameter. Opulent notes of Rainier cherry, violets, fresh blackberry, and plum mingle serenely with aromas of dark chocolate, molasses and pencil shavings.
From above, this patchwork of vineyards between St. Helena and Calistoaga really resembles a checkerboard. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, barrel fermented, pressed, and then put back in a new barrel to mellow.

From the moment you pull the cork, the density of the wine’s aromas fill the air. Framed by lovey bright acidity and fine tannins, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon has vibrant fruit notes shining through to the end.
Light, lifted, perfumed, cherries, blueberries, baking spice, with a touch of sweet tobacco. The body is lengthy and weighty with a juicy ripeness, medium tannins, and a well-rounded chewy finish. You could lay this down for up to 10 years or enjoy yesterday. Too good to pass up!
Blend: 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec, 2% Cab Franc
