From the winemaker: In 1987, we made our first vintage of a wine styled after the famous First Growth producers of Bordeaux, created with the same uncompromising care as the Grands Vins of those venerable chateaux.
Pure, fresh plum, violet, and sage aromas lead to a round palate layered with ripe plum, dark berry, and blackcurrant flavors. Leather, cedar, and dried herb accents, along with whispers of vanilla and oak provide depth.
The 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla and clove. Ruby in color, this elegant wine has great acidity and lift on the mid-palate. Black currant and warm baking spices linger with a deep and fruity finish. It will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 given proper cellaring.

The 2019 Gandona is simply magnificent. A wine of soaring intensity and structure the 2019 marries power richness and depth. Dignitary Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from grapes grown at the base of Chalk Hill, where a slightly warmer climate and rich volcanic soils create ideal conditions for the clone. The wine is aged unfiltered for 18 months in French oak barrels. On the palate, luscious aromas of dark fruit leading to elegant layers of blackberry, black cherry and hints of spice and warm saddle leather on the nose, with a lasting and well balanced finish.
