Clean and bright in appearance with a greenish yellow tint. Extraordinarily elegant nose of ripe white fruit, apples, pears, custard apples, citrus fruit, lemon peel and stone fruit. It is very expressive in the mouth, creamy yet fresh.
Very complex wine with great balance and style. This rich concentrated wine, is packed with intense aromas of citrus, apple, pear and floral scents with a tropical background. The palate is full-bodied and voluminous, with a fresh and vibrant acidity and great minerality.
Pale yellow with greenish reflections, this Albariño is intense in the nose, with peach and citrus notes. The freshness and minerality, and the mid-palate are superb, with remarkable acidity and a round, crisp finish.
Somehow cooperatives developed a bad reputation. While it is certainly true that cooperatives can make mediocre wine, it is also true that estates can be guilty of the same crime. Burgans is a custom cuvée made for European Cellars by Martin Codax, the largest cooperative in Rías-Baixas. Founded in 1986 by about 50 families with small plots of Albariño around the village of Cambados, it has grown to include almost 600 families and well over 3000 small parcels of Albariño.
Of a very elegant pale yellow this Albariño has a fresh and vibrant nose that reminds us of tropical fruit with subtle citrus and floral notes. In the mouth, we find a round and fresh body with a saline and mineral combination that provide a marked notion of terroir.
Rias Baixas, Spain- Medium to light-bodied white wine that is rich with peach and citrus fruits while the aromas tend to the floral and slightly nutty end of the spectrum. The wine has bright acidity and an easy-drinking quality.
