Juicy dark fruits, bramby berries, and succulent cherries cavort on a bed of licorice, potpourri, saddle leather, incense and sweet baking spices in this supple, superb ’01 Recioto.

Ruby red color of medium intensity, which tends to garnet upon aging. It has a characteristic perfume that is pleasant and delicate, with hints of fruit that grow in the area: cherries, marascas, and plums. The flavor is dry, bodied, slightly bitter, savory, and harmonious.

Very delicate destemming and crushing to preserve the integrity of the dried grapes followed by a long maceration in contact with skins at 23-24°C for 25 days. Ageing in barrels of 25 HL (70%) and in barriques (30%) for 3 years. Dry, very warm, full bodied and intense wine.

Filari Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC is a classic, round, and fragrant red wine, with a very high polyphenolic content, an intense ruby colour with soft purple hues. It is also ideal with pasta and red meat, excellent with "Arrosticini" and grilled meat, but also with pecorino cheeses of various ages.

Marasca cherries jump from the glass with elegant hints of balsamic and spice. The wine is full and enveloping on the palate with a charming elegance, offering a seamless balance of vibrant acidity and fine, polished tannins.
