The fruit is drawn from both the Abbey Ridge and Clos Electrique vineyards, which are home to vines planted to a multitude of great Chardonnay clones and with an average vine age of 40-50 years old.

Winery Notes: Our 2022 Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Chardonnay is an elegant expression of the fog-cloaked vines of our legendary Sleepy Hollow Vineyard. Wisps of lemon zest and Tahitian vanilla conjure hints of meringue clouds dotted with lemon curd.

This beauty really delivers with its mind-boggling array of lemon tart, ripe orange, marmalade, grapefruit, flower oil, honey, and wafts of struck flint. Medium-bodied, the palate reveals a stunning, satiny texture with loads of savory layers and ample acidity providing great lift.

Named in honour of faithful hounds everywhere, Bar Dog offers a well-balanced, refreshing chardonnay. Its aromas and flavours of lifted ripe pineapple fruit, followed by notes of nuts, honey and citrus lead to a fresh finish. There’s lots of Chenin between here and Santa Barbara, but there is good reason to traverse all those miles. Of all the sites with which the winery works, Jurassic Park, planted on its own roots on quartz sand atop lime- stone in the late 1970s exhibits the most vintage variation, and small variations create very strong signals in the wine.
