Alión comes from carefully selected terroirs located in the very best areas of the Ribera del Duero DO region. The soils complement each other, and allied with the same winemaking process used in Vega Sicilia, they have produced wines with a firm structure.

Vega Sicilia is widely regarded as the greatest wine producer in Spain. The estate in Ribera del Duero is known for its dense, complex red wines made principally from the Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grape variety. Its top wine, Unico, is one of Spain's most expensive and sought-after wines.

2017 was a very challenging year, as most of their vineyards in San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja were affected by frost, unlike others in nearby Laguardia. Not only was it frost, but they also had hail later on in the season.

This is a non-vintage Vega Sicilia and a tribute to tradition. Unico Reserva Especial is a true homage to the history of Spanish wine, perfectly combining the characteristics of different Unico vintages.

Lovely dark cherry red colour. Expressive fruit (blueberry) aroma with delicate oak-imparted notes (cocoa) and elegant spices coming through. Velvety and supple, the wine is more accessible, lighter, and less structured than previous vintages, but has attained a good level of maturity and is very pleasant to drink.

The wine has a dark cherry red color that is very opaque. It has intense and fragrant aromas, with exquisite fruit notes of raspberry jam and spicy hints of green peppercorn. There is also a pleasant note that reminds of toasted bread.

The creamy 2020 Crianza was fermented with yeasts selected from their vineyards and matured in French and American oak barrels for 14 months. It's ripe and spicy, with abundant, fine-grained tannins.

Monte Real Crianza Rioja is a classic Spanish red wine from Bodegas Riojanas, crafted in the Rioja region. Made primarily from Tempranillo grapes, this wine offers a balanced profile with notes of ripe red fruit, subtle spices, and a hint of oak.
