Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG has a ruby-red hue with a trace of garnet. The nose is elegant, displaying hints of spice and fruit. This a well-structured wine with smooth tannins and a long finish.

This wine comes to life with awareness of what we are and what everything is: energy. It was inspired by the hill of Hermitage upon the Rhône and by a deep respect for pure Tuscan Sangiovese.

It features an extrovert and joyful nature (neither one-dimensional nor lacking in nuances), with the unmistakable character of a Brunello di Montalcino from the southwestern sector.

Ruby red tending towards garnet. Rich, intense and complex with notes of black cherry and spice. Full bodied with rich red berry fruit flavors complimenting a backbone of tannin.

This Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. is made with Sangiovese and a small percentage of Canaiolo grapes, carefully selected and dosed with the aim of obtaining a wine with marked characteristics of terroir, typicality and elegance.
