The estate
A 4th Classified Growth of Saint-Julien, Chateau Talbot is one of the iconic references of Haut-Medoc. Acquired by Desire Cordier in 1918, Chateau Talbot is today managed by Nancy Bignon-Cordier and her husband, Jean-Paul Bignon.

This Meursault is pale yellow in color with green highlights and a subtle and fresh nose of citrus fruits and vanilla, with some oak adding a certain complexity. It is still quite tight on the back-palate.

Les Beaumonts is a fine and structured red wine, with a very good ageing potential. Very fruity, complex notes of undergrowth and mushroom after a few years in the cellar.

This Beautiful Château is surrounded by 29 acres of vines located in the village of Gensac. With its charming ruby color and delicate nose of red fruit aromas, this wine offers full body and supple mouth with a long finish.

Coq d'Or are pineaux in the true Hardy style, fine and subtle in aroma and offering perfect balance between freshness and roundness. Hardy Coq d'Or white boasts a golden colour with a vast array of tints. Its delicate bouquet is reminiscent of dried fruit, honey and lime tree. It is an intense, elegant, full pineau.

As it should, this presently has an entirely different aromatic profile with its ripe and fresh combination of earth and sauvage characters together with both red and dark currant scents.

Pauillac at its best is deep, intense, full and powerful — the iron fist in a velvet glove. This benchmark example from a well-sited property, with vineyards planted in deep gravel soils, is mainly cabernet sauvignon and has lovely, pure, intense fruit with refined tannins on the finish.

There’s fruit, earth, and flowers in abundance, but no excesses of tannin or alcohol to weigh you down. That is the magic of Château de la Bottière’s Juliénas: It tastes “big” without, in fact, being big.

Chateau L'Eglise Saget Bordeaux 2021 is a refined and well-structured wine that exemplifies the elegance of the Bordeaux region. This wine reveals a firm backbone of tannins that provides strength and depth, showcasing its potential for aging and development.

At the very top of the Côte de Beaune between the villages of Meursault and Puligny, a few vineyard rows abut the forest known as the Bois de Blagny. Conditions are slightly cooler due to the elevation and the proximity to these woods, and the soil is chock-full of blocks of limestone.
