100% certified-organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Bottled by Dott. Piero Cornacchia. At the end of the 16th century, the Viceroy of Naples granted land to a Cornacchia family member with the award of a baron title. Located in the province of Teramo, the estate dominates the fertile valley of the Vibrata, lying at 787 feet above sea level. After the devastating infestation of phylloxera that spread all over Italy at the beginning of the 20th century, Barone Filippo Vizzarro Cornacchia selected ancient clones to replant and graft all his vineyards using American rootstocks.
