Velho Barreiro Gold Cachaca
Cachaça and Guaro is Brazil’s and Central America’s equivalent to Rum. However, where Rum is mainly made of molasses, a by-product of sugar cane refineries, Cachaça and Guaro’s base ingredient is fresh sugarcane juice. Brazil is where all Cachaça is produced and where most (except 1%) is consumed.
Neighboring country, Columbia produces Aguardiente and much of Central America produces the same type of spirit and goes by the name Guaro.
