Van Duzer Estate Pinot Noir 2013
Delicate aromas of cherries, loose-leaf black tea, and brown spices. Dark red fruit (van and bing cherries and ripe raspberry) and mysterious spice flavors thanks to the sheer purity, depth, and intensity of the fruit. The wine conveys a sense of elegance and grace with its light, yet sturdy frame and firm core lending presence and persistence.
100% Pinot Noir. Van Duzer's cool microclimate and practice of sustainable farming produce Pinot noirs with bright-berry character, intriguing complexity, and pleasing balance. Their winemaker selects from nine Pinot noir clonal varieties cultivated in the vineyards to create a distinguished estate wine. Their label is inspired by Zephyra, the Greek goddess of the gentle west wind who blows Pacific breezes through the Van Duzer Corridor over their family estate vineyards.
