The Hearach Isle of Harris Whisky
True sense of place on the nose with pear halves grilling over a wood fire at the seaside while dipping figs in caramel sauce, floral elements of jasmine and honeysuckle, along with a bit of brine and white pepper.
Soft and coating on the palate with honeyed pears, mild earthy peat, clove and peppercorns, with a gentle brine and smokey core with rich caramel and vanilla cream. The finish is warm and pleasant with earthy peat persisting after a slow fade of sweet raisins and honey, with brine and dried citrus intertwining in the finale. A unique and exciting new Island malt.
