St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
France
With vibrant flavors of melon, citrus zest, pear, and quince. Very fruity and flowery. colorful and uplifting while being silky and viscous. Without this distinctive contemporary emblem, no bar is complete. 20.0% by volume of alcohol. Champagne, St. Germain, sparkling water, and a lemon twist make the ideal aperitif.
It demands Champagne, although occasionally a crisp sauvignon blanc or a rose may do, so long as the wine is dry. The more traditional Champagne version will result in a cocktail that is a little bit cleaner, fresher, and more effervescent, but we think you'll find the alternatives more than satisfactory. Trying sake or a clean, dry vermouth can be rather enjoyable for the more daring.
