Knob Creek 15 Year Old is a Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that has been aged for 15 years. It has aromas of caramelized oak followed by hints of sweet vanilla and baking spices. The palate is smooth caramel and toffee notes paired with toasted oak and light leather.
Dark cherry, honey and smoked oak on the nose. Notes of caramel, toasted vanilla and cocoa on the palate. Finishes with notes of coffee, maple syrup and oak.
This small batch release is the first bourbon release for Louisville-based Peerless Distilling Co. Like the distillery's rye whiskey releases, this too is produced using a sweet mash rather than a sour mash. The Kentucky straight bourbon is bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration.
