The Muirhead's brand of Scotch Whisky was created by Mr. Charles Muirhead, founder of the Glenmorangie Company, also known as Macdonald & Muir. It has been produced in Scotland since 1824. Alba refers to Quercus Alba, the type of American White Oak that are used to mature A’Bunadh Alba. Coincidently, Alba is also the Scots Gaelic name for Scotland. The English name refers to the light colour of the bark of some species. American Oak trees grow much faster than most European Oak species and can live for hundreds of years.
Rich and Creamy, there are notes of roasted nuts, cereals and dried fruits. Sweet, soft and exceptionally well rounded. Mouthwarming with hints of soft fruits, leather and toffee. Long with a lingering sweetness which fills the mouth.

The whiskey aging process is influenced by time & place. Aren't we lucky. These barrels have all been influenced by the greatly original source and their time in our Rick House in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The different rick house positions combined with flavor & alcohol strength.
A vatted single malt of sherry barrels and other specially selected barrels named for the King Car conglomerate. The palate has a hint of sweet mango juice with that spicy complexity and gentle warmth on a medium, oily and citrus finish. Enjoy on the rocks.
This special edition cask strength release is solid. Has hints of youthfulness, while showing some aged quality as well. Some vanilla, little herbaceous quality.

The famous peated expression (35 ppm) from French Brittany-based distillery Glann Ar Mor (which can be translated at "by the sea") - matured in ex-bourbon casks, uncoloured and non-chillfiltered.
