After a stunning 2-year-old season in 1947, famed trainer Ben Jones knew that their horse was set to have a breakout 3-year old season. In 1948, Citation furthered his campaign toward becoming a legend. He began the season with a handful of wins, Then Eddie Arcaro was tapped to jockey Citation. The first race pairing the two was a disappointing loss at the Chesapeake Trail Stakes. This would be the last race.

Aged to perfection for over 10 years on a single rack (19 barrels) in the rick house. Each Kentucky Straight Bourbon bottle has a custom label with the specific rack location and number of barrels in that bottling. Notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and oak.

One of the real fathers of bourbon is Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. He was adopted by his uncle, Edmund Haynes Taylor Snr., who rechristened him as his junior, after becoming an orphan at the age of five in 1830.

The signature Straight Rye Whiskey from Overholt has increased to a 4-year age statement (from 3 year old, which has been discontinued). The 4 year age statement pays homage to Overholt’s 1942 original age statement and marks a return to the liquid’s historical roots. Old Overholt 4-Year Old is bottled NCF (Non-Chill Filtered) at 86 proof (43% ABV).

The second release of the Booker's Bourbon 2022 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2022-02 “The Lumberyard Batch”. This batch is named in honor of my dad, Booker Noe’s pre-distillery years. While his journey to becoming a distiller wasn't exactly a straight path, it led him to his true passion.

Our high-rye content has been a calling card for Bulleit as it provided drinkers everywhere with a delightfully spicy backbone to their bourbon. Paired with some of the finest limestone filtered water in Kentucky and aged in charred new American white oak barrels, our Bulleit high-rye mash bill is perfectly aged for sipping on the rocks or in a cocktail.

Notes of leather, toasted oak and vanilla carry into the palate, along with flavors of stone fruit and port that give way to creamy crème brulee and honey with nutty marzipan. The finish features slight tannins and notes of black tea, apricot and smoke.

In celebration of the long-standing ties that bond Irish and Kentucky Whiskey making, Kentucky Owl has partnered with Irish Whiskey Bonder Louise McGuane to help create our Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Finished in Cabernet Sauvignon Casks and then aged for a second time in luxury Cabernet casks. The result is a wonderfully complex bourbon with flavorful bursts of toasted vanilla, ripe fruit and spice, for an exceptionally clean, lingering, smooth finish and a rich character.

Aged in both new char and toasted barrels before being placed on ships that travel the seas and to 5 continents. Nose of toasted marshmallows, syrup and spice. Flavors of toffee, vanilla with hints of leather. Finishes with spice, cinnamon and sea salt. Non Chill Filtered.

This limited run of 1500 total bottles consists of Kentucky straight bourbon finished in handmade Japanese Mizunara Oak barrels that previously held premium shochu. The legendary Ariake cooperage crafted the barrels near Kyoto, Japan. Bourbon is from Bardstown Bourbon Company, one of the most technologically advanced US distilleries.

Having a nose of vanilla, dark cherries and caramel. On the palate, there is a balance of caramel and toasted oak. The finish is said to be long, with notes of crème brûlée and chocolate.

Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery Series #6 is a blend of straight bourbon whiskies. The blend consists of 68% 11-year-old Kentucky Bourbon, 16% 17-year-old Tennessee Bourbon, and 16% 7-year-old Indiana Bourbon. Bardstown Discovery Series #6 is a cask-strength bourbon bottled at 58% ABV.
