First fill XO rum casks are used to finish this whiskey and give it the sweetness of stone fruits. It’s a tribute to the role Irish emigrants played in the development of rum plantations in the Caribbean in the 17th century, but it speaks loud and clear to us today with a bold, fruit-forward style.

Bottle number four of seven in the Midleton Kylebeg Wood series. This rich and subtly chocolatey pot still whiskey was finished in casks cut from a single native Irish oak – sourced from a managed forest in Country Laois.

“Dair Ghaelach” means quite simply, Irish Oak.
While the name may be simple, the story of this whiskey is unique. This whiskey has been finished in casks made from virgin Irish oak grown in Kylebeg Wood on the Ballykilcavan Estate, near Stradbally in Co. Laois.

Redbreast 27 elevates the storied reputation of this iconic whiskey even further. Building on the celebrated foundation of bourbonand sherry cask influence the inclusion of ruby port cask brings even more complexity and depth.

Redbreast Pedro Ximenéz (PX) Edition is the first limited edition release from the Iberian Series. The Iberian Series adds a new and exciting chapter to the Redbreast Family story with whiskeys finished in casks sourced from the sun-drenched bodegas of Spain and Portugal, suffused with the natural warmth and sweetness of the Iberian peninsula.

Rich and oaky aromas with deep malty notes, caramelized fruit and woody spice leading to velvety smooth and mellow vanilla oak notes with cinnamon, baked apple, toasted marshmallows and a biscuit sweetness. Finishes rich and warming with a lingering malty sweetness. Enjoy!

This is the second addition to the 'Spot' range of Irish whiskeys, which contains the famous Green Spot Pot Still Whiskey. The Yellow Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey which has been matured in three types of cask: American bourbon cask, Spanish Sherry butts and Spanish Malaga casks for a sweeter flavour.
