The first release of Big Moustache produced 580 cases from 14 hand selected barrels. The mash build is 80% corn, 10% rye and 10% malted barley. A long fermentation of 3 days makes our whiskey unique. The freshly distilled, unaged whiskey is filtered over sugar maple charcoal before going into new American oak barrels.

The Yamazaki 18-Year-Old Mizunara 2017 Edition is a rare and exquisite Japanese single malt whisky, aged in precious Mizunara oak casks. This limited-edition release boasts deep, complex flavors of sandalwood, coconut, and rich dried fruit, with a velvety smooth finish.

Dried fruits ripen, then soften showing off velvet sateen. Vanilla accompanies green apple hand in hand, neither taking the lead. Ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon create an ensemble in the background, with polished oak offering to overstate, yet never does, but plays with a depth of resinous, juicy oranges.

Fragrant red apple skin, orange peel, fruit cake, vanilla and redcurrant. Palate: Silky dried fruits, almost perfumed, with dark toasty notes and some warming ginger. Finish: Figs and dark spices. Overall: Comforting and luxurious Sherried Speyside whisky.

On the nose, this whiskey presents citrus and sweet spices. On the palate, it is sweet and mellow, with notes of vanilla, nutmeg and bitters. Best enjoyed neat, at room temperature.
