Knob Creek 15 Year Old is a Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that has been aged for 15 years. It has aromas of caramelized oak followed by hints of sweet vanilla and baking spices. The palate is smooth caramel and toffee notes paired with toasted oak and light leather.
Dark cherry, honey and smoked oak on the nose. Notes of caramel, toasted vanilla and cocoa on the palate. Finishes with notes of coffee, maple syrup and oak.

Like the distillery's rye whiskey releases, this too is produced using a sweet mash rather than a sour mash. The Kentucky straight bourbon is bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration. This limited run of 1500 total bottles consists of Kentucky straight bourbon finished in handmade Japanese Mizunara Oak barrels that previously held premium shochu. The legendary Ariake cooperage crafted the barrels near Kyoto, Japan. Bourbon is from Bardstown Bourbon Company, one of the most technologically advanced US distilleries.
