Old Williamsburg 4 Year Bourbon is a testament to the time-honored bourbon-making traditions of Kentucky. This straight bourbon, carefully distilled and aged for four years, embodies the essence of American craftsmanship.
In 1997, when Jefferson’s was first starting out, we found a 15-year-old bourbon that we immediately knew was rich, complex and needed to be brought to market. It was in 2003 that we decided to bring in other bourbons to marry with the original Jefferson’s Reserve. Similar to Jefferson’s, we still use over 50% of that mash bill and add up to 3 more bourbons to create more flavor and complexities.
Everything we do is grounded in whiskey - up to a certain point. This bourbon starts as a key straight bourbon whiskey. Then we finish it in oak casks sourced from around the world.
As part of the wheated bourbon family, this twelve year old W.L. Weller is aged far longer than most wheated bourbons. This offering is a smooth, easy-going and balanced bourbon with a beautiful deep bronze color.
Notes of leather, toasted oak and vanilla carry into the palate, along with flavors of stone fruit and port that give way to creamy crème brulee and honey with nutty marzipan. The finish features slight tannins and notes of black tea, apricot and smoke.

Finished in Cabernet Sauvignon Casks and then aged for a second time in luxury Cabernet casks. The result is a wonderfully complex bourbon with flavorful bursts of toasted vanilla, ripe fruit and spice, for an exceptionally clean, lingering, smooth finish and a rich character.
This limited run of 1500 total bottles consists of Kentucky straight bourbon finished in handmade Japanese Mizunara Oak barrels that previously held premium shochu. The legendary Ariake cooperage crafted the barrels near Kyoto, Japan. Bourbon is from Bardstown Bourbon Company, one of the most technologically advanced US distilleries.
This deep, burnished-gold whiskey has a somewhat fragrant nose and the aromas develop an almost wine-like character, with a hint of almonds lurking in the backdrop.
Uses wheat in place of rye as the third or small grain. The use of winter wheat replaces the spicier, fruitier flavor notes that rye provides with a softer and rounder character.
Just like the original Old Tub liquid, this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has not been carbon or chill filtered - only quality screened to remove bits of barrel wood to showcase the true, rustic character of the whiskey - bourbon the way it was intended to be.
Kentucky- Aromas of caramel toffee, sweet char, creme brulee, cinnamon, vanilla, and apple. Bright first notes of rich caramel sweetness. Vanilla and toffee coat the front of the palate, linger, then blend with tingles of pepper, cinnamon, and a hint of ginger.
Another special release of barrel strength small batch product from the famous Jim Beam distilleries in Clermont and Boston, Kentucky. Booker's was originally conceived by Booker Noe, Jim Beam's Grandson, and originally released in 1988.
