Mezcal

Dos Hombres Mezcal is made with agave Espadin in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca. The agave used in this mezcal are cooked in underground pit ovens, milled by horse-drawn tahona, fermented for 7-10 days with mountain spring water, and double distilled in copper stills.

Mitre Mezcal is made in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca by 2nd and 3rd generation Maestros Mezcaleros Don Tacho and his sons Joel and Laurentino. This mezcal is traditionally produced using maguey Espadin cooked in a stone oven, horse-drawn tahona, and copper distillation.

A perfected balance of rich agave and mesquite, this aged mezcal delivers a vigorous palate of sweet oak, dates and raisins and lands in an explosion of green vegetables and spicy cooked agave with a long-textured finish.

Butterscotch, black tea, banana, and roasted maguey. A little sweet, a little creamy. Savory, spicy, and peppery, in a way that reminds us of smoked meats and Texas style barbecue. Followed by lingering, resonating notes of ash and soft smoke on the palate. 48% Alc./Vol.
