Slivovitz has always been the most popular highlanders’ spirit. One can find the earliest mention of the drink as early as in XVIII century. Its ancient recipe based on characteristic strong taste and aroma has been known to numerous inhabitants of Zakopane – the heart of the Tatra Mountains in Poland.

From the old world recipe dating back to the 19th century, this legendary Strykover Slivovitz has been produced from plums grown in orchards famous for their sweet and aromatic fruit. Passed down through the generations, one can still taste the legend of this fabulous Slivovitz. Kosher for Passover.
