Roused by the white wines of Burgundy,the 2012 Chardonnay displays a parity of ready organic product flavors,crisp acidity,lingering minerality and toasty notes of oak.Old-World enlivened yet at the same time 100% American,we like it with exquisite seared pork chops,roast chicken,and barbecued salmon steaks.
Heringer Holland Vineyard. The vines were planted in 1987 in fine, sandy loam, and are trellised in the vertical shoot situating framework. Heringer Holland is guaranteed sustainable. After the harvest, the grapes are crushed,de-stemmed,and delicately pressed. The Chardonnay is fermented in impeccable steel. After essential fermentation, the wine lays on its remains for two months, after which it is racked into barrel (45-55% impartial French oak).We bottle the Chardonnay unfined with a light filtration a year after the gather.
