Salentein Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
The wine displays an intense ruby-red color with aromas of cherry, cassis, blck pepper, and vanilla. In the mouth, it is ample and intense, with very good structure and fruit, combined with tobacco notes granted by its aging in oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is bottled without filtration. Serve at 61 degrees F. This wine can be aged for six to eight years.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Bodegas Salentein pioneered the development of premium wines in Valle de Uco. The ideal conditions of the region for grape growing, combined with the unique qualities of their estate vineyards located between 3,445 and 5,577 feet high and the benefit of its five different microclimates, result in wines with exceptional characteristics. Their vineyards are planted on the eastern slopes of the Andes at some of the highest elevations on the planet for wine growing. The Valle de Uco's stony soils, excellent sun exposure, and pure melt water from mountain snowcaps are ideal for creating this remarkable wine collection.
