Pull Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Strong notes of coconut and vanilla are immediately evident on the nose. The nose reflects the use of new French and American oak barriques that were necessary to support the sheer weight of this wine's fruit.
Deep and thick fruit dominates a richly textured palate with a concentration of flavors of blackcurrant and raspberries hidden within a blend of toffee and coffee. This very complex wine has a warmth, is full bodied and finishes quite firm.
The wines of Broken Earth are made to accurately portray varietal definition, purity of fruit and balance. The palate must appear “seamless” and where more complex wines are intended, they must allow the layers of complexity to continually emerge as you familiarize yourself with the wine. “Bright” is a term often used by the winemaking team to describe the wines as they show clarity of flavor with balancing acidity, essential for pairing with food. Each wine is an honest portrayal of the distinct characteristics of each variety, whether they be tiny parcels of hand selected fruit or larger, more complex blends.
