Piantate Lunghe Rosso Conero 2013
Montepulciano | Italy
Ruby red with light violet reflections, the nose reveals very dark scents of sour cherry and violet that open only after a few minutes in the glass, leaving space for a note of wet tobacco. In the mouth it is material, pleasantly pulpy, tense and reactive thanks to an unusual shot.
Piantate Lunghe is an independent winery that was founded in 2004 by three partners that decided to put their own vineyard to use. They agreed to start the old Giustini cantina up again. This cantina was already known in the 80's for its production of fine Rosso Conero.
