Our small team of winemakers utilizes only responsibly-farmed vineyards to create wines of true expression and flavor. Whenever possible, our goal is to source from old vines that naturally produce grapes of greater concentration and complexity. At times, we may avoid fining and filtration which can strip a wine of its inherent character and texture. Production is limited.
The Old Parcel caught our attention because of its balance. It exhibits the classic, juicy, dark fruit notes of California Petite Sirah, yet everything is in balance - a real rarity at this price point. This screams for grilled meats and BBQ. On a plain above the Sacramento Delta lies the wine region of Lodi. Here, soils eroded from the Sierra Mountains result in a multitude of terroir alternatives. Moderating breezes blow in from nearby San Francisco Bay.
