This wine is made from 100% Petite Sirah grapes, grown on the vineyard slopes that rise towards Jerusalem. It was aged in small French oak barrels for 14 months.
Kerem Montefiore celebrates the 150th anniversary of the founding of Mishkenot Sha'ananim. This was the first land purchased outside the Old City Walls of Jerusalem and it became the cornerstone of modern Jerusalem. It was originally named Kerem Moshe, Noses' Vineyard, in honor of Sir Moses Montefiore. Kosher for Passower.
