Inky ruby. Ripe cherry, musky herbs, candied flowers and woodsmoke on the fragrant nose. Juicy and supple in the mouth, offering concentrated dark fruit and cola flavors that are lifted and sharpened by a peppery nuance. Closes with very good clarity, smooth tannins and a refreshing touch of bitterness. Nicely structured and taut for an Australian red wine at this price point.
